Decrypto is a cryptocurrency exchange operating in Argentina and Peru. It needed scalable, secure and highly available infrastructure to support its growth in the Fintech market, and at the same time it had to improve the performance of its deposit and withdrawal system to offer a better user experience.

Impact

Adopting the Standard Platform made it possible to optimize the architecture and cut cloud costs by 40%. Deposits and withdrawals became faster and more secure, and the platform keeps the scalability needed to process a high volume of transactions.

How the solution was deployed to meet the challenge

The infrastructure was built on the GoCloud Standard Platform and deployed as code with Terraform and Terraform Cloud: every change is validated in a lab account and promoted to development, staging and production, minimizing manual errors.

For deposits and withdrawals we implemented serverless microservices on AWS Lambda that integrate Fireblocks’ capabilities at the lowest possible cost, taking advantage of the automatic scalability of the serverless model.
